What I Write

I write about the collision of pop culture and political reality, because increasingly, there isn’t much distance between the two. My work asks: What do our collective obsessions reveal about power, identity, and belonging? How can we use cultural analysis as a tool for social justice? How do we build communities that take both artistry and activism seriously?

Alongside five years of corporate marketing and writing experience, I bring a journalist’s rigor and a marketer’s discipline to every piece I write: researched, sourced, and built to land with readers at an accessible and educational level.

Where I Write

I’m the founder and editor-in-chief of The Convergence Lens, an independent publication built on the idea that fandom and artistry can be a tool for change, not just a distraction to it. Our coverage spans investigative journalism, film criticism and analysis, cultural commentary, media literacy education, and social justice advocacy — treating the stories we obsess over as a legitimate lens for understanding power, identity, and belonging. I also do freelance work for other publications, particularly in the film criticism/analysis sector.
